Instant Pot Boiled Eggs! Learn how to make them perfectly.

Boiled eggs in the instant pot? Yes I said that and they come out perfectly.

This was my very first recipe I made in my new Instant Pot Max. Eggs take forever to boil going the traditional way so enter Instant Pot Boiled Eggs. They only take four minutes of cooking time and are perfect.

I received my Instant Pot Max at Christmas time and I’ve been using it ever since. You name it, I probably tried it in the instant pot.

My handsome man likes how quickly some meals come out and how flavorful they taste when they were just cooked a few minutes ago.

I have the Instant Pot Max, six quart cooker. It has many different cooking possibilities including canning. One of these days I will try my hand at canning my own jelly and salsa, but today I’m sharing with you how to make boiled eggs in the instant pot.

I can cook a dozen in the pot. You will need the metal trivet that came with your instant pot. Now you don’t necessarily have to cook that many, but my toddler will eat six of them by herself so I need to cook a lot.

You will also need one cup of water. When cooking with the instant pot you need at least a cup of liquid to bring it to pressure.

Once you place your water, trivet, and eggs it’s time to place your lid on and set your time. Press the pressure cooker setting, then set the time to four minutes, and then set the vent to quick release. Press your start button and wait till its done.

When your Instant pot finishes cooking and has released the steam, carefully take your eggs out. Put them in a bowl with cold water and few ice cubes to cool them down for a bit. This also allows you to peel your eggs easily.

Now the only thing left to do is peel and enjoy eating them. I like to put them in my weekly lunch salads or have two for a quick and healthy breakfast on the go.

Speaking of breakfasts, this would make a quick and simple breakfast Baby led weaning option for your new food eater. Just slice and serve.

I’d love to hear how you enjoy your perfectly hard boiled eggs.

Notes

I have an Instant Pot Max. So I do not have to manually vent the pressure. It does it for me.
You can have 4 eggs or 12, but the time will be the same.
Before placing your eggs onto the trivet, make sure there are no fractures in the eggs. This will result in cracked shells when you open your instant pot after cooking.

And don’t forget to share and pin it!
